A little update on this since it took me a week to figure it out . After uninstalling all the optional updates , reinstalling some of the visual c++ libraries , rolling back some chipset drivers , countless little tweaks etc. and getting slightly mad in the process , as a last resort I uninstalled all the recent security updates ( at least 20 of them ) . Problem gone . Everything is smooth as butter . I promise not to update my Win 7 , EVER , AGAIN

Hi , last night I applied several Windows updates accumulated since last year's summer and it kind of broke Full Screen Preview and Window Catalog . Instead of a smooth animation I get a very quick flash , then the animation . It doesnt't sound like much but it's very annoying .
I tried literally everything to revert to the normal behaviour . I unistalled updates , reinstalled dexpot several times ( even tried an older version ) , reapplied latest Nvidia drivers several times ( also tried older ones ) , reinstalled NET Framework and so on . Nothing seems to fix it and I'm out of ideas . Here's a small log while triggering both FSP and WC . Any help would be appreciated .
