There are a few scrolling desktop extenders (GiMeSpace, Infinite Screen, 360desktop, ...) but I don't know if any of them actually allow you to make a window larger than the screen size.

Thanks for the info Patrick. I'll have to keep on looking. Any suggestions?

No, that's not possible with Dexpot.

A Virtual Desk top that is larger than my actual monitor

Hello,
I am looking for a way to run a program that needs a 1920x1080 display on my laptop that only has a 1600x900 display. Having to scroll up and down and side to side to see the portions of the full screen that are not visible is not a problem, I just need to be able to shift the viewable area without exiting the program. Will I be able to do that using Dexpot or is that not possible? If not, is there another way to accomplish this without having an actual 1920x1080 monitor hooked up?
Thanks
Rick
