:dex:,

I've already answered this. Delete them, but they'll reoccur as you restart Dexpot.

delete Dexpot related string values only, not keys.

but there are users that will not use dexpot anymore ...

These values aren't created by Dexpot, but by Windows.

can you suggest a tool to clean them?
because i can't delete manually they are too many

i have not registry cleaner , always tought they are dangerous

in short a tool that can delele only these keys

by the way , may i ask you another question?
i got it ,they are created by windows

but may i know the portable version does it create registry keys? if yes , may i know which keys does it create?

it doesn't. However, I don't know the exact number of how many keys/values Windows creates when running Dexpot. Depends.

yes, if it's not already.

Dexpot won't run without it. You may unregister it anytime.

yes, if it's not already.

i haven't done , MSCOMCTL.OCX it's only in the dexpot folder ,but dexpot run and works

Dexpot won't run without it. You may unregister it anytime.

i have run dexpot as administrator and it works without register MSCOMCTL.OCX, portable version
so i guess run dexpot as administrator does register MSCOMCTL.OCX

These values aren't created by Dexpot, but by Windows.ì

Sebastian , i tried to restore an image and i have even exported from the image the registy hive files before running dexpot portable

there are no keys , you suggest to delete only the dexpot keys if i want to delete them
but in the image and in the registry there are not any keys and subkey

are you sure they are created by windows?

for example this one and other 1000 keys are not present on windows 7 64bit before run the portable version

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{BDD1F04B-858B-11D1-B16A-00C0F0283628}

i don't want to blame anybody or anysoftware ,i really love dexpot , just i would like to know why after running dexpot there so many keys with subkeys and so on

thanks
