In case the update isn't working for you

We're sorry you have to install it manually

Some users are experiencing problems with the update to the current version.

Seven simple steps:

  • 1. Ensure 'Start with Windows' in 'Settings • Start' is disabled
  • 2. Windows Vista and 7 users and update from build 1042 only:
    if 'Settings • Start • Run as administrator' is enabled, follow these instructions first: [1.5.0 Build 1042] Duplicate start-up
  • 3. Quit Dexpot
  • 4. Log off current user
  • 5. Log in again
  • 6. Download the new setup by clicking the download button below, then start it and overwrite the installed version.
  • 7. If applicable: enable 'Start with Windows' in 'Settings • Start' again

Future updates can again be obtained through the Dexpot updater.
