This happens with disabled Aero theme only. Alt-TAB, then switch desktops via Alt+2 while Alt-TAB is displayed. Switch back with Alt-1 to see an empty Alt-TAB.

Add 'TaskSwitcherWnd=ignore' to wechsel.ini.
