Patrick, ok. That's not really it, because I have assigned apps to different desktops, so when they start, they go to that desktop -- but I'm still on the initial desktop. Theoretically, I can just switch, but on top of then needing to pick the right one -- and remember assignments made -- it's one more step.

It would be cool to have the choice to go to the desktop that a program is assigned to automatically upon its startup.

There is a "Follow after move" option for desktop rules. Maybe that's what you're thinking of?

We'll consider adding a similar option to the application assignment feature.

I thought I had seen at on point that if I assign a program to a specific desktop, when I open that program it automatically switches to the designated desktop.

Am I wrong, or am I just not finding it? If it is there, where?
