The Dexpot submenu on the window menu is missing here as well, but the desktop is switched correctly when you click on the taskbar button. Adobe Reader XI and Dexpot 1.6.11 on Windows 8.1.

Hi!

I too suffer from this issue.
I updated Dexpot to the latest version the other day, but the Adobe Reader bug is still there.
Not a huge issue, but it is annoying.

I can see by right clicking on the window titlebar of an Adobe Reader window that no Dexpot submenu is available. I guess that's why Dexpot can't handle it.

Good! Thank you for your reply.

However, Adobe gives me the creep with its all important behavior. It is almost impossible to disable automatic updates. The update window stays on top of all other windows, etc.

Of course, just a rant. Certainly not Dexpot's fault!

Keep up the good work!

Bart

Yes, I can confirm this behavior. Should be fixed in the next version.

Adobe Reader and Dexpot do not like each other?

Post by BartZorn » 26.07.2013 15:32:52

Hello,

I am using Dexpot with 4 desktops and I have "Keep all taskbar buttons Visible" in "Switching Desktops" enabled.
This way I cab switch to an application and automatically switch to the corresponding desktop and I like that.

Normally I use Nitro PDF Reader, but sometimes I need Adobe Reader. The Adobe taskbar button does not behave like all other buttons I have. If I am already at the desktop where Adobe is, it brings Adobe to the foreground (as it would do without Dexpot). But when I am at an other desktop, it does nothing!

Windows 7 SP1, X64, all updates installed
Dexpot version 1.6.9
Adobe reader version 10.1.7.

Anyone seen this too?

Thanks,

Bart
