currently, if you adjust the zoom / view on a particular desktop, it will affect all other desktops.

it would be great if each desktop had independent zoom settings to allow for various icon sizes.

functional application: managing multiple projects, each with their own virtual desktops. projects with more files can have a smaller icon zoom, and projects with less files can have a larger icon zoom. this especially helps with graphic projects to easily view thumbnails. whereas currently, if you use a large zoom to view thumbnails on one desktop, the desktop with more files will then overpopulate the screen at the larger zoom level.
