did you check the mouse wheel settings in 'Setting > Plugins and Extras > MouseEvents'?

Would like to have a very quick easy way to switch desktop via mouse: drag wheel on desktop to the right to switch to next desktop

i.e. press the wheel on the mouse, then drag mouse to the right to switch to next desktop

the current mode of using mouse to switch desktop has some delay or need to manoeuvre the mouse or move the mouse all the way to the end

although we can switch desktop instantly using keyboard, it is also good to be able to use mouse to switch desktop instantly
