Where / How does Dexpot start?
Where / how does Dexpot start with Windows? I see nothing in the Startup programs at all.

That could work, but how do I get it to size like yours?

Sowing the Desktop name
I wish there were a key combo to just show the desktop name so I wouldn't have to have it on all the time but if I needed to know which desk I was on I could do so with a key-press.
The name for the current desktop does not show unless it is just being changed to or is constantly "on."

Corrupted Word 2010 files
I am not at all sure that Dexpot had anything to do with this, but... I have a desk set up just for Word. On this I have several files I opened / re-opened / or left open. Two days ago, suddenly I couldn't open Word files by double-clicking them, but only by right-clicking and selecting "Edit.&...

Bookmarks and miTaggedMarks
Ignore this...It fixed itself after a system restart. ---- I use a bookmark manager -- miTaggedmarks (http://www.mitaggedmarks.com/), and it places a "triangle" at the screen edge for capturing bookmarks and opening the main window, etc. I cannot get the "triangle" to stick at th...

Switching desktops instead of moving windows?
If I have Firefox (and several tabs) on desktop 2, and, when on desktop 1 I active a Roboform passkey to log into a website, Firefox gets duplicated onto Desktop 1 (with all the tabs) and then the new tab opens. What I want to happen is, even if I am on a different desktop, when I "call" a...

Re: Bug with mouse buttons(?)
Ok, I figured as much from your first message. It's just that I really don't know which option you're talking about. There is no checkbox anywhere labelled "Have mouse buttons switch desktops". On the "Mouse Switch" tab of the "Controls" it has an "Activate Mouse ...

Re: Bug with mouse buttons(?)
I have to keep turning off the option to have mouse buttons switch desktops. I want to be able to do it only with keys, not with the mouse. I turn that option off, and it keeps ending up still switching the desktops until I unload Dexpot and then re-load it.

Bug with mouse buttons(?)
I use the MS Wireless Laser Mouse 6000. I cannot turn off the Dexpot switching by mouse buttons. I do it, but it either just doesn't turn off, or "comes back later." It would be great to be able to deactivate that feature if desired, and switch desktops by keys instead. Regards, Chuck Billow

Dexpot not following Assigned App
I tried setting a rule that if Solitaire is opened, it would be opened on Desktop 4, and I selected "Follow after move."
It opens on the right desktop, but I am not taken to that desktop afterwards.

Auto-switching??
I had asked about this in another post -- and it is happening now, but I don't know why. I have a program set up to open on Desktop 4. Sometimes when I start it, it switches to "4" automatically, sometimes it doesn't. Also, how come the desktop icons are showing on Desktops 1 and 2, but ar...

Re: Switching desktops with application
Patrick, ok. That's not really it, because I have assigned apps to different desktops, so when they start, they go to that desktop -- but I'm still on the initial desktop. Theoretically, I can just switch, but on top of then needing to pick the right one -- and remember assignments made -- it's one ...

Switching desktops with application
I thought I had seen at on point that if I assign a program to a specific desktop, when I open that program it automatically switches to the designated desktop.
Am I wrong, or am I just not finding it? If it is there, where?

Chuck Billow
