Re: Dexpot not playing well with Fences
Are you using the paid or free version of Fences?
Let me know, and I will install either version and I will see what effects I get as well.
Maybe we trace down some issues together

Re: Dexpot not playing well with Fences
Greetings SirCumference (wave) Actually this is a known issue. This issue exists with all Virtual Dsektop Managers that I am aware of. Last I knew, I believe that The Dev folks are looking for a solution as many, including myself, really like Fences. the Dev folks at Stardock are also aware of Fence...

Re: Rainmeter and Circle Dock Proposal
Query; When using the add and subtract VD option. What happens if you go below 1? Is there something I should look for or account for in the skin I am working on from a beta tester perspective? Figured I would ask, before I fond out a hard way ;) I am almost done with the Alpha of the skin, and have...

Re: Rainmeter and Circle Dock Proposal
Then #2 it is
The only hick up I see is if Rainmeter and Dexpot are both portable.
The path would have to be recorded as ///XXX/XXXX/Dexpot.exe (I think I have this concept Correct)
The path can not be hard coded as the Path Directory may change from one machine to another

Re: Rainmeter and Circle Dock Proposal
I have hit a small inconvenience As I and DM continue building the release skin. I have hit a small issue. Apparently there is no way to send a command to Launch Dexpot via the plugin (???) I have also noticed that the command line parameters require that Dexpot is running, this makes sense, as if y...

Let me guess.....
You are using an IBM laptop, with the little battery gadget, immediately to the left of the task bar systems tray?

Re: Rainmeter and Circle Dock Proposal
I guess it would have helped to post the skin here. Download: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1016357/Rainmeter%20Dexpot%20Skin/Dexpot%20Test%202.rmskin You will need Rainmeter 2.0 ( http://rainmeter.net/RainCMS/ ) It is only functional for 4 screens at this time, but we are working on a dynamic solution no...

I have scrapped all previous skins and started from scratch. This skin is being built on the basis of an upcoming skin pack, ...

Re: e-Mail notifications
I take it that these notifications are programs that sit in the systray in the lower right hand corner (on the right of the task bar) ??? If this is not happening, I find it interesting as I have Thunderbird and a few "Growl" notifications that "pop-up" above the systray regardle...

Re: Desktop icons that are shortcuts to network resources
I have run into similar issues, and they are most frustrating. May I suggest looking into third party solutions. such as: Circle Dock Rocket Dock. sTabLauncher These will maintain your prepared shortcuts, unless you select options otherwise stated. I am a member of the Circle Dock community, therefo...

Re: Refresh Option & Save to Current Option
I think after much trial and error in testing I have the refresh request nailed down. it looks as though the following would need a refresh option/tool/button/what-ever-you-want-to-call-it. Refresh All Plugins: In windows 7, I find that the logon on order changes depending on which program was insta...

Re: Portable Version does not work
Greetings Franziska (wave) Let's see if we can get you working ;) My immediate questions would be: Where (or what path) did you install the portable version? Are you using an Anti-Virus program, and if so; which one? Most important: Did you Install the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Common Controls? Let...

Re: Controlling VGA Output
I think Understand what he is asking for. I believe that he is requesting that in a multi-monitor environment that Dexpot can be selectively operated on one monitor, or Monitors, of choice. example: In a three screen set up; the two screen on the right and left would remain "Fixed" while D...
