Expansion of Wallpaper Option to include Dreamscene Per VD
Hello folks. As I am working with My Rainmeter skin and Circle Dock integration, I would also submit this to tease the mind. Based on the following "Hack": http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/01/14/how-to-install-and-enable-dreamscene-in-windows-7/ Dreamscene can be made widely available, I...

Add VD, Remove VD, Save to Current Profile...
I have had a stroke of genius or just a stroke :cool: This is coming to me as I am working on Rainmeter test Skins Via the systems Tray Menu, Command Line, VirtualDesktops.dll, and SDK (if needed) Add the ability to Add or Remove a Desktop one VD at a time. And a fast "Save to Currebt profile&q...

Re: A few problems / bugs
I have also witnessed this. In my case I have found that this mainly happens when I am loading Firefox, and prematurely switch screens. Firefox will either move with the desktop switch or move to a different screen if multiple switches of VD are made. I have also found that this will sometimes happe...

Re: Multimonitor & Multidesktops?
Ok. I would love this functionality as well, and this is one of the "Holy Grails" of the VDM world. But before we all start ganging up on this concept (along with Patrick and Sebastian), Please also observe the following Posts. http://dexpot.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=2058 I am star...

Re: Dual Monitor
This is kind of a "Holly Grail" Subject, and even with third party software/tools intervention, running a VDM on multiple Monitors has never been properly obtainable (IMHO). Although combining a few of the discussions in this thread do bring up an intriguing possibility. :cool: I can think...

Greetings Max Power. I think I will step forward a bit here, since you mentioned Rainmeter. We are working diligently to bring the great functionality of Rainmeter and Dexpot together. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1016357/Rainmeter%20Dexpot%20Skin/Screenshot%20-%207_21_2010%20%2C%203_02_11%20PM.png This ...

I have to ask
Why would you want a transparent wallpaper???
what is behind the Wallpaper to be seen????
Please do not consider my question rude.
It is my curiosity

Re: Dexpot 1.5 Plugin SDK
I must agree, especially with the number of Netbooks and Laptops that now come with really good built in Mics. A for the number of folks that would utilized this functionality, would really have to be seen, as Speak to activate really has not taken the hold that even windows expected. A project like...

Thanks for the help, but that didn't fix my issue unfortunately. Any other ideas? Ouch...... :? Nope I had hoped that this would work for you as it has for me. I have only really noticed these issues on upgraded systems, and not full installs. Windows does something.....not right; in the upgrade :|

Re: Rainmeter and Circle Dock Proposal
Here is what I see. Command Line is a great multi-communicator set, and a lot of folks still utilize Command Line via a DOS Window. The problem is, by today's standards Command Line is flaky, slow, and can be potentially bloated. Windows must commit at least two operations to send the command, the c...

Re: Dexpot doesn't start properly on Windows 7 x64
Understood.... I ran into a similar issue with my laptop, and have had some very serious issues. The upgrade is not so much, it blends certain files, creates some, and hides others. This has been the best and worst "Upgrade" experience I have ever had with Windows, but it is no where perfe...

If appropriate I would pose a question here;
When you upgraded;
Did you just run an upgrade from Vista to 7?
Or did you do a clean install of Windows 7?
