Desktop2 still active after uninstall of Dexpot

After uninstalling Dexpot, Windows now boots to Desktop2 which is useless without Dexpot installed. I have tried deleting Desktop2 and then rebooting but it just recreates Desktop2. I can't get it to go to the original Desktop. Any suggestions?
