assign 2 Virtual Box images to 2 different desktops

Virtualboxvm.exe passes specific parameters at startup to select the specific virtual image I wish to start. I wish to start each of the 2 Vbox images in 2 different desktops. I tried passing the string that the shortcut contains to"assign application" but the passed parameters are truncated by Dexpot.
Also I tried making a copy of Vurtualboxvm.exe and that does NOT work, so that Idea was a bust.
Any ideas ?
