Opening the Windows menu switches to a different desktop

When I open the Windows menu, Dexpot switches to another desktop.

Windows 10

It happens whether I use the key or click on the icon.

This is happening intermittently. Sometimes the desktop won't switch when I open the Windows menu.

When I open the Windows menu and start typing to find an application, the Windows menu just closes. I'm not sure if this is a separate problem or not.

Both of these problems have gone away.

The problem with not being able to type to search for an app in the Start menu doesn't appear to be related to Dexpot. Even after I closed the Start menu doesn't seem to have been related to Dexpot as it persisted even after I closed Dexpot.

:dex:,

you can fix at least one issue by copying the attached file into the Dexpot main directory.

99% of everything has worked for me under Windows 10 , but I also had the Start menu search go haywire , randomly

My workaround was to restart explorer.exe

I'll try this possible fix

So far that fix seems to have done the trick. Haven't seen the problem at all since

That pretty much makes Dexpot for me near perfect under Windows 10 , a minor miracle

Still don't know why the Windows version of virtual desktops is so lame , when they had your work as a benchmark.

They should have paid you a few million and copied the idea's / code

Thank you a lot to Sebastian for its workaround.
It was terribly difficult to use Dexpot without it.
I was going to remove Dexpot!
