Dexcube doesn't work and other problems

Hi, I have a problem with my dexpot. A while ago I noticed that mt dexcube transition effect is not working. When I go to settings the dexcube box is unticked and the program doesn't allow me to tick it back. In addition, normally I would have a stack of dexpot windows visible in the taskbar right after the system startup. However, at the moment I have to click the dexpot icon to get the stack to appear (I haven't changed any settings though and the program is set to start after boot). I tried reinstalling dexpot but during installation got an error message about one of the files missing, I could select ignore and the installation finished but the problem persists. Please help!

Do you have a virus scanner or some other security tool that might be blocking the start of the plugin?

Of course I have a virus scanner (AVG). How would I go on about checking if it's blocking anything?? Normally if it wants to block something it gives me a prompt first asking for permission

I can't switch on any plugins

When I go to Settings>Plugins and Extras the only plugins that I can tick are SevenDex and Mouse Events. What the hell is wrong with the rest? Do I need to install them separately?? They used to work just fine before but then stopped, I suspect that it may have happened after one of the updates. Can anyone help me sort this out? Thanks!

What's your Windows version, Dexpot version? Is User Account Control (UAC) enabled? Are you running Dexpot with or without administrator privileges?
