I need help. The program window disappears

I use 3 desktops and I love to put my Reaper loading at the second one while I am using the first one. When its done loading I switch to the second desktop and it disappears! I simply don't know how to find it since I can only see it in process window as reaper.exe

Any ideas how to fix it? Its really annoying and ruins a lot of time.

P.S. Alt+tab doesn't help. There are no window at all.

Can you explain what you're doing in a bit more detail? I thought you were talking about a long load time after starting the program, but that seems unlikely now that I've installed the program myself: it only takes a second to start.

Still, when I launch Reaper on Desktop 2 and then immediately switch to Desktop 1, the program briefly appears on Desktop 1 before it's moved back to Desktop 2 by Dexpot. I can then switch to Desktop 2 and Reaper is visible there.

Sure. Usually it takes 3-5 minutes to load a reaper project (vst/etc takes time), Usually it uses 2-3 GB of ram. I have it assigned to my second desktop and usually I go there and run it with the project. Then I switch to the first desktop and go back and forth checking if its over and I can start working. When its over loading I disappears. I don't know why its like that but I am going to remove second desktop assignment right now to check if it was the cause. It doesn't happen all the time, but mostly 1/3 of cases for sure.

Do I have any option to check all the hidden windows or the ones that got disappeared suddenly with Dexpot on?

I tried to close the dexpot, but there are still no reaper window.

Thanks. To see a list of hidden windows (i.e. ones that are considered not visible on any desktop) select "Desktop Windows" from the main Dexpot menu and click on "Hidden" (bottom left). Right-click on a list entry and select "Show on current desktop" to bring a window back.

Do you have the option "Settings > Switching Desktops > Keep all taskbar buttons visible" enabled?

Thats an amazing feature! Are there anything Dexpot doesn't have?
I'll check if this thing would help to bring the window back.

And no, actually I don't have this option enabled just because the main reason I use Dexpot is a huge amount of windows I have all the time. I just separate them between desktops and have the stuff sorted/related in my head.

Try this if the problem still occurs: Save the attached file to your Dexpot installation folder and restart Dexpot.
