Dexpot Forum

When I open the Windows Desktop - Dexpot under Icons tab, in order to arrange icons under the different desktops I defined,
some of the desktop icons in the main windows desktop are not listed in Windows Desktop Dexpot - Icons Tab.
On the other hand they do figure in the preview screen - see attached screenshots.
I could not find any specific reason why these icons are not listed.
Anyway, this prevents me from using Dexpot, which could be wonderful for my needs.
I would appreciate very much any help for a solution.
I work under MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1

and sorry, I could not guess what is the format for inserting the screenshot pictures from my computer...

Quoting from the Quick Start Guide:

Icons stored in the folder 'C:\Users\Public\Desktop' [...] are visible on all virtual desktops. Such icons do not appear in 'Desktop Windows'.

You have to move them from the public desktop to your private desktop located at "C:\Users\Username\Desktop" manually.

Indeed solved my problem and let me now enjoy Dexpot - it's exactly what I needed and much more...
Nevertheless, I would suggest to add this directive to your quick guide at the same place.
