When I switch to a password protected desktop, the dialog that comes up does not have the keyboard focus, so I have to click on the dialog window to type the password. This is potentially an insecure situation; if, for example, you immediately start typing your password after switching desktop (since you see the dialog), the password you typed just went somewhere else, not the password dialog.
