Is there any way to implement up/down switching (in addition to the right/left (next/previous) switching) for the wall view? This is one of my favorite feature of Spaces in OSX and I'd love to see it ported here. I prefer to use 6 desktops, and with Spaces, I am never more than two desktops away from where I'm trying to go (versus 3 with Dexpot). Plus, the column/row organization makes sense for me (so I use desktops 3 and 6 for email and calendar respectively, because they are "similar" so I put them in the same column). This means it's a simple up/down action to go between calendar and email. It also means its a simple left motion to get the column 2, where I have my browser column, with personal browsing in desktop 2 and news in desktop 5.
Thanks,
Nick
PS: If I can help in the development of this kind of feature in any way, I'd be glad to.

Re: Dexcube Wall Up/Down Switching
I am not sure if this is possible either, and I would also like to see this implemented in future versions. I keep mine in a 2x2 formation, so up/down navigation via hotkeys would be extremely useful to me.
Re: Dexcube Wall Up/Down Switching
This would be really awesome. This is the feature I'm missing most from Linux/Gnome and OSX.
Re: Dexcube Wall Up/Down Switching
I agree. Dexpot is definitely the most fully featured free virtual desktop manager there is, but this is a feature that it should have, as many other such programs do.

Re: Dexcube Wall Up/Down Switching
yes this function is a must.so far the only competitor for Dexpot is deskspace by otaku software and its not free but their functions are way below what dexpot can do,However they have a cool 6 sided cube and a background image when the cube is zoomed out/changing desktops and it looks wicked!!
Re: Dexcube Wall Up/Down Switching
Any chance of this being implemented? I work with a 3x3 desktop, and 2d directional switching would mean that i'm only ever 2 button pushes from what i'm looking for. I currently use VirtuaWin which simply doesn't cut it (keeps making Opera crash).
Thanks
