Upgrading your Dexpot license
A message to our loyal customers
Dear existing customer,
we've been working on Dexpot 1.6 for more than 3 years. Many of the new features, bugfixes and improvements have been suggested by you. Your proposals helped us make Dexpot even better. Below is a list of your ideas that found their way into the final product:
- All components of Dexpot are now compatible with multiple monitors
- 2 monitors or more? No problem. Your monitors are visible and usable in all components
Keep an eye on your monitoring, trading or charts application on the excluded monitor while you switch between desktops on the other monitor
- Full-screen preview has been entirely revised for Windows Vista, 7, Server 2008 R2 and Windows 8/8.1 (Aero theme enabled ?)
- Shows an interactive live overview of all desktops
- You can move windows to other desktops by simply dragging them with your mouse
- Other, more advanced features like copying and closing of windows or tiling and zooming of desktops are available via easy-to-use mouse and keyboard controls as well
Clicking a taskbar button takes you to the desktop of the respective window
- Distribute your desktop icons over physically independent desktop folders
- You can now sort and align your icons right from the Windows context menu
- Move your mouse cursor into a screen corner to e.g. open the Window catalog
- You now can scroll through desktops with your mouse wheel, wherever the cursor is
- This feature will also work in full-screen RDP sessions
- There's a new feature 'Assign application' you can select in the main menu
- Pick an application and choose the desktop, and it's permanently bound
Speed up loading different profiles with the new profile shortcuts
